Good morning, the clearly states that the hostel does not have its own parking space. However, due to the fact that this is a motorbike, it will be possible to bring it to the closed square in front of the hostel. Regards Jopi Hostel

I'm concerned about the safety of my belongings. I read in the reviews that lockers are missing keys. Do all lockers work properly and have keys?

the lockers have keys, unfortunately some lockers do not have them due to the fact that careless customers do not return the key, if you have any doubts about it you can leave your things at the reception

Good value base in Katowice centre

Very comfy bed and clean room (private twin). Free coffee and tea. Easy check in with instructions. Kept the bag after check out. Good value for money.

Shower room a bit smelly because of no windows and drain.

Would totally come back.

The yard and views are something! Don't remember when was the last time I just enjoyed looking out of the window. Super peaceful and quiet. Quite a bargain for the price paid. The cleaning lady was very nice too!

Could have been perfect if there were sockets near each bed. Also, a lot of stairs to walk, so people with foot injuries may have to make quite an effort.

A pleasant and friendly place to stay in Katowice.

This is a very friendly hostel, with its own courtyard. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had everything needed (except an oven, which was taped closed). It's close to the city centre, less than 15 minutes walk from the train station and international bus station. The wi-fi was very good, the best I experienced in Poland on this trip.

The power point in the bedroom couldn't be further from the bed - I have an extended charging lead, but still needed to reverse the bed (ie. move the pillow to the far end) and even then, the lead was draped across the doorway. There is only bathroom per floor, although this wasn't an issue during my short stay (I'd booked this because I needed to check-out at 3am to get to the airport and the hostel where I was staying, according to the pre-arrival information, only offered check-out from 7am - this proved to be incorrect!). I needed an early night because of my flight, but my room overlooked the courtyard and there were conversations and other noises (motorbike revving, dog parking and a car horn!) until after 11pm; then, someone turned on the television in the common area (one floor below) very loudly at midnight, although it was switched off 30 minutes later.

Unfortunate stay

The staff at the hostel was very nice. Responding to messages and to requests. Before and during. Check in was smooth and location was very central. Little bit tight room but comfortable beds. Besides the oven, good kitchen with 2 refrigerators.

Unfortunately, we experienced an bit of a unpleasant experience not totally being the hostels fault. There were a couple of other guests that gave out a unpleasant vibe to the hostel. They spent some time at the kitchen and hang around the entrance drinking alcohol and being loud. One evening they were verbal fighting in the hallway as well as knocking on our door. We like to cook but unfortunately my girlfriend didn't feel comfortable using the kitchen at times during our stay because of this. Another person sitting in the kitchen for long hours also watched videos with speaker on his phone disturbing most people around echoing through the hostel. Noices made from the entrance making it a bit difficult to sleep at times. The hostel staff did eventually make the unpleasant guests leave with was very appreciated. We just experienced an unpleasant unlucky stay for our 3 night duration. Also too bad that the oven was not usable and that we were told to refer not to drink the tap water. Our room only has one outlet next to the door.

Good short stay for a budget traveller

Location close to train station, clean fascilities, bathroom was spacious but outside single room, shared kitchen with 2 fridges, good value for money

Kind of hot in the summer with no aircondition, a bit of noisy environment due to other hostel customers

Location is great as it is walking distance from the main train station. Very convenient if you need to catch an early or late train. Cheap.

No side tables or places to put your things, lockers were small (too small for a duffel bag even) and would not lock, the socket was not close to the bed.

A spacious and stylish hostel with messy roommates

For the price, this is an awesome option for a hostel. The location is right by the center, with stores and cafes a minute away. It is facing the street inwards, so there is less car and pedestrian noise. The overall space is large and all of the common areas are stylish and clean. There is only one fridge, though, so there is not much space for my own food. Noise was kept to a minimum, with the quiet hours respected well. Good wifi connection.

The room was not kept very clean, with my neighbours being rather messy and smelly.
